QFC provides targeted endangered, vulnerable and rare (EVR) species survey for species identified through federal and state government databases, previous fauna investigations and historical records. Specific trapping and investigative methods are employed to determine the presence or absence of identified EVR species within the project area.
Consultants at QFC have been involved in numerous target EVR species projects across Queensland conducting targeted field investigations for species such as the Giant barred Frog Mixophyes iteratus, Palm Cockatoo Probosciger aterrimus, Ornamental Snake (Denisonia maculata) and the Northern Quoll Dasyurus hallucatus.
