A. Our team of Wildlife Spotter/Catcher consultants have undertaken or are currently involved in vegetation clearance involving areas between ¼ acre blocks through to 700-hectare broad scale clearance for mining operations. Other projects include linear clearance for pipeline and overhead cable transects.
Q. Will the QFC Wildlife Spotter/Catcher process interfere with project timeframes and machinery operators?
A. Our goal for each site is to determine the least intrusive way of conducting onsite fauna management so as to not hinder timeframes and objectives for your project. Our process includes techniques that are aimed to keep machinery operators moving wherever possible. These techniques are outlined in our “Felling Procedures” that are provided as part of the QFC Fauna Management Plan provided before the commencement of operations.

A. QFC services fauna management requirements across Queensland. We provide services to developers, land clearance operators, arboriculturists, environmental consultants, landscape architects, civil contractors, mining companies and both local and state government departments.
Q. What is QFC’s commitment to onsite safety?
A. The safety of our consultants and the people we work alongside is our number one priority. We provide Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and/or Risk Assessment documentation for each site we attend and will attend all job specific inductions as required. We are fully equipped with all necessary PPE and communications equipment.

A. Our Senior Consultants provide Fauna Survey and Impact Assessment services. Our consultants are highly proficient at identifying all vertebrate fauna groups, providing targeted assessment of endangered species and specialise in reptile ecology. We have conducted fauna survey works throughout Queensland including Cape York, Central Eastern and South East Queensland. Our clients include mining companies, local council and state government.
